In 1996, We Turned Over a New Leaf
Kennedy Funding started in 1987 with a definite plan in mind. It was obvious that the traditional lending industry was severely hampered by two distinct problems: a lack of speed, and a lack of flexibility. Banks felt secure in the knowledge that they could keep borrowers waiting weeks or even months for their loan to close. And if your loan failed to fall within their ‘cookie-cutter’ patterns, it was virtually doomed to failure.
So we established Kennedy Funding on speed and creativity, and began building a reputation for being able to close multimillion-dollar loans faster than any institution around. And instead of automatically declining a loan that required special consideration due to financial constraints, we became adept at finding ways to make the deal happen. In fact, we became so creative that we practically invented the concept of the raw land loan, where the raw land itself becomes the collateral for the loan. Today, no one in this arena is more adept at raw land loans than Kennedy. As a result, we became known as the company that routinely made the ‘impossible’ deals possible.
In 1996, Kennedy became a global entity, doing business internationally. At present, we’re active in Latin and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia and, of course, Canada. From Vancouver to Quebec, we provide the same great service that was once only available south of the border. |
